4. Text Messaging Terms (SMS/MMS)

These terms apply to text messages sent by Armstrong Duct & Vent. Agreeing to receive text messages is optional and is never a condition of purchasing any service from us.

Service and appointment messages. If you agree, we will send you text messages about work you have booked with us — appointment confirmations, technician arrival and scheduling updates, and replies to questions about your job.

How you give permission. You tell us verbally when you schedule service. Our schedulers read the following:

“Would you like to receive text messages from Armstrong Duct & Vent about this appointment — confirmations, technician updates, and scheduling changes? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. This is not required to book your service.”

  • Program — Armstrong Duct & Vent appointment and service messages.
  • Message frequency — Message frequency varies.
  • Cost — Message and data rates may apply.
  • To stop — Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation, and we will send no further text messages. You may also opt out by calling us at 800-736-2706, emailing us at [email protected], or telling any Armstrong employee. You do not have to reply STOP.
  • For help — Reply HELP, call 800-736-2706, or email [email protected].
  • Delivery — Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book any service from us without agreeing to receive text messages.
  • Eligibility — you must be 18 or older, and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you give us.
  • Carriers — the major United States wireless carriers are supported. Carrier participation may change.
  • Number changes — please tell us if your mobile number changes or is no longer yours, so that we do not send messages to someone else.
  • Privacy — our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your mobile number and your permission.

5. Phone Calls, Recording, and Automated Voice

  • By giving us your telephone number, you agree that we may contact you about services you have requested or received.
  • Automated appointment reminder calls are a separate, optional permission from text messages. Choosing one does not opt you into the other, and you can change either at any time.
  • Armstrong Duct & Vent does not make automated marketing or telemarketing calls.
  • Automated calls include a way to opt out during the call. Opting out of automated calls does not stop text messages you have separately agreed to receive.
  • Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and training. Massachusetts law requires the consent of every party to a recorded call; where a call is being recorded we tell you at the beginning of the call, and you may ask us not to record or may end the call.
  • We may use an automated or artificial-voice assistant on calls. We will tell you when you are speaking with one, and you can ask to be transferred to a person.
  • We honor federal and state do-not-call rules, and we do not place automated calls outside permitted calling hours.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are specified in our service agreements. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in additional fees or the suspension of services.

7. Intellectual Property

  • This website and its content are the intellectual property of Armstrong. Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Armstrong shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of our services.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of New Hampshire.
