At Armstrong Duct & Vent, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have — including how you can control text messages and phone calls from us. It applies to this website and to the services we provide throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address, mobile or landline telephone number, and the service address and ZIP code where you would like work performed.
  • Property and service details — information you give us so we can quote and carry out the work, such as the year the building was built, its square footage, the type and number of heating systems, and the number and location of vents and thermostats.
  • Messages you send us — the contents of quote requests, comments, emails, and any text messages you exchange with us.
  • Communication permissions — a record of the permission you give us to contact you, including the date and time, the method used, the wording you were shown or read, and, for permission given on this website, the IP address of the device used.
  • Call recordings and transcripts — where we record or monitor telephone calls, as described in Section 4.
  • Website and advertising data — cookies and similar technologies, the pages you view, and advertising identifiers such as the Google Click Identifier that tell us which advertisement or search brought you to our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, quote, perform, and invoice the services you request.
  • To contact you about a job — confirmations, technician arrival updates, rescheduling, and follow-up — using only the methods you have agreed to.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To improve our services, our website, and the quality of our work, including training and quality review of recorded calls.
  • To measure how our advertising performs.
  • To meet our legal, tax, insurance, and contractual obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Text Messaging (SMS/MMS)

If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you asked for.

  • What we send — appointment confirmations, technician arrival and scheduling updates, and replies to questions about a job you have booked with us.
  • How you give permission — you tell us verbally when you schedule service. Agreeing to receive text messages is never required in order to book work with us. The exact wording our schedulers read is published in Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions.
  • How often — Message frequency varies.
  • Cost — Message and data rates may apply.
  • How to stop — Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages from Armstrong Duct & Vent. You may also opt out by calling us at 800-736-2706, emailing us at [email protected], or telling any Armstrong employee. You do not have to reply STOP.
  • For help — Reply HELP, call 800-736-2706, or email [email protected].
  • Delivery — Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

4. Phone Calls, Recording, and Automated Voice

  • Calls you make to us, and calls we make to you, may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping.
  • Massachusetts law requires the consent of every party to a recorded call. Where a call is being recorded we tell you at the beginning of the call, and you may ask us not to record or may end the call.
  • We may use an automated or artificial-voice assistant to answer calls, take messages, and help schedule work. We will tell you when you are speaking with an automated assistant, and you can ask to be transferred to a person.
  • Automated appointment reminder calls are a separate permission from text messages. Choosing one does not opt you into the other, and you can change either at any time.
  • Armstrong Duct & Vent does not make automated marketing or telemarketing calls.
  • Recordings and transcripts are kept only as long as we need them for the purposes above, and are protected in the same way as the rest of your information.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent they need it to do that work for us:

  • Customer relationship and scheduling systems that hold your job history and appointments.
  • Communications providers that deliver our email, text messages, and telephone calls.
  • Website, analytics, and advertising providers that help us understand how our site and advertisements perform, and security providers that protect our forms from automated abuse.
  • Payment processors, where you pay us electronically.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, and public authorities, where we are required to share information by law.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. This applies regardless of any other sharing described in this section.

6. Cookies and Advertising

  • Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to understand how visitors use it, and to measure our advertising.
  • We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Microsoft Clarity for measurement and advertising. These providers may set their own cookies and receive information about your visit.
  • Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

7. Data Retention

  • We keep customer and job records for as long as you remain a customer, and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, insurance, and legal purposes.
  • We keep a record of your communication permissions, and of any opt-out, for as long as we may contact you and afterwards as proof that your choices were honored.
  • We keep call recordings and transcripts only for the limited period described in Section 4.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details in Section 13.
  • You can change how we contact you at any time. Text message, automated call, and email permissions are recorded separately, so you can change one without changing the others.
  • Reply STOP to any text message to stop all Armstrong Duct & Vent text messages.
  • Ask us to add you to our internal do-not-contact list and we will stop all automated calls and messages.
  • We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

9. Security

  • We use industry-standard measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encrypted connections to this website.
  • No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

  • Our services and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your Consent

  • By using our website and services, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
  • Permission to receive text messages or automated calls is separate, optional, and can be withdrawn at any time. Using this website does not grant it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
  • Last updated: August 9, 2026.
